Cacao was once used as currency. It was a symbol of value, exchange, and relationship. In our gatherings, we honor this legacy by reimagining currency and economy—not as transactional systems, but as regenerative, co-creative relationships rooted in mutual care and contribution.

Paola is a spiritual herbalist and intuitive graphic designer who weaves plant wisdom and presence into all she creates, guiding clients to align their business with their essence.
Adam is a consultant and impact-driven producer with a gift for asking the right questions. He helps people clarify their dreams, distill their ideas, and move forward with purpose and integrity.

No—this is a community circle, not a traditional ceremony. We hold this space with reverence, but we are not ceremonialists.
Cacao ceremonies are sacred practices held by Ajq’ij (Maya timekeepers and spiritual guides) or those who have been initiated through direct mentorship within their lineage. Becoming a guardian of this medicine is a deep responsibility—not something we claim lightly.
We offer this circle as facilitators who are in relationship with cacao and grateful for the teachings shared by elders, teachers, and stewards of this tradition. Our intention is to create a respectful space for reflection, connection, and community.
Our location varies each month as we intentionally highlight different small businesses around Houston.
At times, we also gather in residential spaces. The exact address is shared upon registration to honor the privacy and safety of all involved.You are so welcome here. We honor all ways of being. This is a space where you can engage at your own pace.
We open each gathering with shared agreements—including the invitation to opt out of any activity that doesn’t feel aligned.Tickets are non-refundable, but they are transferable. If you can’t make it, you’re welcome to gift or sell your spot to someone else—just make sure to let us know so we can update the guest list.
